1. Who controls your data
Tether Agents, a business based in the United Kingdom, is the data controller for personal data collected through tether-agents.com. Contact: support@tether-agents.com.

We never receive your card number. Payment is handled entirely by Stripe as merchant of record. We see only the order: what was bought, the buyer's email, and the country for tax purposes.
3. Who we share it with
Only with providers that help us run the business, and only as far as they need it:
- Stripe — our merchant of record: takes the payment, handles tax, refunds and chargebacks, and sends your receipt.
- Our email provider — to receive and answer your emails.
- Our hosting provider — to serve the website, the download file, and to receive quote-form submissions.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.
4. Transfers outside the UK
Some of these providers operate outside the UK. Where data is transferred, it is protected by UK adequacy regulations or by standard contractual clauses.
5. How long we keep it
- Order and tax records: six years after the transaction, as UK tax law requires.
- Support emails and quote requests: two years.
6. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, send it to another provider, or stop using it for marketing. Email us and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
7. Cookies
This site sets no cookies until you choose. We ask once, in a banner at the bottom of the page, whether we may set a single advertising cookie from Meta (Facebook). Nothing from Meta is loaded unless you accept.
- If you accept: Meta sets a cookie that lets us see which of our adverts led to a visit or a purchase, so we stop paying for adverts that do not work. Meta acts as an independent controller for that data — see their privacy policy.
- If you reject: nothing is loaded and we remember your choice so we do not ask again on this device.
- Either way you can browse and buy normally. Nothing here is needed to take your order.
To change your mind, clear this site's data in your browser and the banner will appear again.
We separately report completed purchases to Meta from our own server, without cookies, so we can measure advertising accurately. That report contains the order value and a one-way encrypted form of your email address — never the address itself.
The checkout is hosted by Stripe, which sets cookies necessary to process your payment securely and prevent fraud.
8. Security
Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe under PCI-DSS. Our own records are held in access-controlled accounts protected by strong, unique passwords and two-factor authentication. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell you promptly if a breach affects your data.
